No matter the season, the call of the great outdoors is strong. Taking the family camping can be both a fun and educational experience. Camping also serves to get the younger generation interested in conservation and to grow a love of nature.

True camping requires some work. Anyone can drive an RV to a parking lot and call it camping. A real camper finds his true place in the wild and does the work necessary to establish his camp. This can include building a fire, digging a latrine, or clearing ground for a tent or sleeping area.
