Dynamic shooting is an interesting term, and often misunderstood. First and most importantly people need to understand the difference between dynamic and static shooting.

In reality, these are the two most basic forms of shooting with dynamic compromising tactical, moving, & competition like three gun and IDPA.

Static Shooting can be anything from basic target practice on a square range, to slow fire long range shooting and rifle competitions, as well as skeet and trap shooting. Static shooting is what the majority of us do, as it can be simple plinking or just bulls eye shooting.

Static shooting teaches and reinforces the fundamentals of safety and marksmanship. Static shooting is incredibly important and often underestimated in terms of importance.

The 5.11 tactical series of back packs is quite varied and often split into different series, like the Rush, the All Hazard, and now the MOAB.

The MOAB 10 or Mobile Operation Attachment Bag 10 is the largest in their sling bag series. Sling bags are not traditional back packs with two straps, as they feature one wide strap that is attached diagonally across the bag.

Sling bags are often must faster to throw on and drop off, and when working in and out of vehicles, bags like MOAB are much easier to work with than your average day bag. The tradeoff being that most sling style bags are smaller and not as comfortable to wear on long patrols.

The MOAB 10 is probably the largest sling bag out there. The MOAB 10 is only a little shallower than a standard day pack. The MOAB 10 does have extra MOLLE to add on extra pouches and increase the overall capacity, or to better organize the bag.
