Integrity: Gun Holsters Unlimited bases its business model around integrity and superior customer service.  We are truly dedicated to our customers and value your business, something that’s becoming rarer and rarer these days in the age of automation. 

 

Products:  We have some of the best products around, many of which are made right here in theUS.  We only buy products from the very best manufactures that already have an established track record on quality.  We are also constantly on the lookout for the best new products to offer our customers.

 

Price:  We have some of the best prices around.  We really do.  While we cannot offer a 100% guarantee that we will have the cheapest prices on every item, you’ll find that our prices are very competitive.  We price our items with our customers in mind, and do not up-charge on shipping.

 

Customer Service:  We are currently the underdog and a newcomer in this industry, but the upside of that is that we value each and every customer as if you are our only customer.  Every sale is important to us, large or small, and we treat all customers with the respect that we would want to be treated with.

We were founded and are based out of Louisville, KY.  Our warehouses are conveniently located in Kentucky, Texas and in other areas throughout the country.

Why were you founded?

 

The owner and founder enjoys shooting sports (along with combat sports and self defense classes), and considers it one of his passions.  Recognizing a need for better-quality products and better-customer service than his larger competitors offer, he left his career in the financial services industry to realize his dream of starting his own business in an industry he loves.

 

How large is your company?

 

We currently employ about 10-15 people. 

 

Products


Are all of the products on your web site in stock? 

 

Yes, 99.9% of the time, anything you are able to order off of our website is in stock.  Our website is refreshed several times a day to reflect the current inventories in our warehouses.  The only time an item you order might not be in stock is if we sold out of the product that same day, which is very rare.

 

I can’t find a particular item I am looking for, but your site lists other items by the same manufacturer.  Can you special-order items that are not on your site?

 

If we could do it, we would, but unfortunately, we cannot special-order items that are not on our website.  It is just not feasible for us or for you, given the wait-time it takes to special-order.  Many manufacturers require minimum orders that can be several hundred to several thousand dollars worth of a given product, which is why special-ordering is problematic for most companies and wait times long. 

 

I can’t find a holster for my particular firearm.  What should I do?

I saw an item on your website a few days ago but now it is not there or is out of stock.  What happened?

 

We sold out of the item, and often we do not display products on our site that we are out of stock of or have discontinued.  Please check back every week or two, as we get new products in every day from our manufacturers.  If the item is still there but listed as out of stock, please enter your email address on the product page and we will notify you the minute we get more back in stock.

 

 

Shipping

 

I just placed an order.  When will it ship?

 

Orders are shipped out every evening Mon-Fri.  If you ordered your item before 4pm eastern, it will be shipped out that same day and you will receive a UPS shipping confirmation email, with tracking number, the following morning.  If you placed your order after 4pm est, the order will be shipped out the following day/evening.

 

---We have a lot of questions on Shipping, so we provided a few examples to eliminate confusion on shipping.

 

Shipping Example 1:  If you place an order Wednesday before 4pm est, it will be shipped out late on Wednesday evening and you will receive a shipping confirmation Thursday morning.

 

Shipping Example 2:  If you place an order Wednesday after 4pm est, it will be shipped out late on Thursday evening and you will receive a shipping confirmation Friday morning.

 

Shipping Example 3:  If you place an order Friday after 4pm, it will be shipped out late on Monday evening and you will receive a shipping confirmation Tuesday morning.

 

How much do you charge for shipping?

 

Due to the volume of business we do with UPS, we are pleased to offer a flat-rate shipping program. No matter where you are located or how many products you order, the "flat" price to ship will remain the same.  Shipping for all orders via UPS Ground is only $9.95.

Why are my shipping options limited to UPS? 

 

After extensive research on shipping providers, UPS is the most reliable & cost-effective means of shipping for our customers.

 

Can you ship to P.O. Boxes? 

 

Yes, we can most definitely ship to P.O. Boxes.  However, unfortunately we cannot ship to APO Boxes or FPO Boxes.

 

Where do you ship from?

 

We have several warehouses throughout the country, our primary ones being in Kentucky and Texas.

 

Can you ship internationally?

 

In general, we do not ship internationally due to the wait times and also due to having to navigate through the many laws and regulations which vary by each country.  However, if you have a very large order (typically over $500), and assuming it is legal to do so, we will consider doing it on a case-by-case basis.

 

Returns

 

How do I return an item?

1. Contact Gun Holsters Unlimited for a Return Authorization Number via phone or e-mail, as you must have a Return Authorization Number in order to return the item.  Gun Holsters Unlimited will then provide you with the Return Authorization Number, the address to send the return to and a shipping label.

 

2. Before shipping, please repackage the item making sure to clearly write the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box you ship it back in.

 

***Plase write the RA Number on the outside of the shipping box, and not on the outside of the product packaging.

 

***We do our best to make returns easy :o)  However, you must call or e-mail us for the return authorization number first.  Please do not simply mail the item back without calling us, as we will not be able to process the return unless you have communicated with us first. 

 

Standard Return Criteria

All returned items must be in new, unused condition, with all components and complete with original packaging. We do not charge restocking fees. We will pay for shipping & return shipping charges if the return is due to our error or is damaged.

Please note that we cannot accept items back that have been installed, are damaged in any way (by customer), have to be repackaged, or that we cannot resell as new.  If the item(s) arrive in this condition, they will be sent back to you and a shipping charge will apply.

 

What if you sent me the wrong item?

In the unlikely event that we sent you the wrong item from what you ordered, we will cover the shipping and return-shipping charges. 

 

What if my firearm does not fit into the holster I ordered?

When WE Cover Shipping & Return-Shipping Costs:  If the holster description on our site specifically states that the holster will fit into a specific type of firearm, and it does not, then we will cover the shipping and return-shipping charges. 

When YOU Cover Shipping & Return-Shipping Costs:  If the holster description is vague (such as "Large Nylon Holster"), and it does not fit your firearm, we will still accept the return provided you meet the standard return criteria listed above.  However, you will be responsible for the shipping and return-shipping costs.  We're sorry, but we would be out of business if we had to cover the shipping and return-shipping costs for everyone who ordered a "generic" holster that didn't end up fitting their firearm. 

 

***We do our best to make our descriptions as accurate and descriptive as possible.  For best results and to be 100% sure that a holster will fit your firearm, we advise our customers to order holsters that specifically state which firearms they correspond with.  Or, please feel free to give us a call and we will be happy to help!


Exchanges

Gun Holsters Unlimited does not process traditional exchanges. Instead, you may simply return your items and place a new order, reducing your wait time.
